ROSTOV-ON-DON, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s meat producer Eurodon will lose at least 1 billion rubles due to quarantine and slaughter of about 160,000 heads of poultry in January to fight bird flu, the regional government said in documents seen by PRIME late on Monday.
The authorities said that migration of wild birds was the key reason behind the spread of the disease.
